Professor Yang was appointed as a Distinguished Professors of "Changbai Mountain Scholars Program". He is a recipitient of the State Council Special Allowance, a Senior Expert of Jilin Province, the vice president of Mechanical Engineering Society of Jilin Province, vice president of Automobile Engineering Society of Jilin Province, executive director of Reliability Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society. He was appointed as a Young and Middle-aged Professional Talents with Outstanding Contributions of Jilin Province, and excellent educator of Jilin Province. He presided over more than 30 national major scientific research projects, NSFC research projects, provincial and ministerial research projects, and published more than 100 academic paper.
